It's one of the "old-fashioned" Whirlpool PowerClean dishwashers. One of the best performing ever made. The cleaning complaints may be because they use the normal cycle (which in old days as light wash--one wash & two rinses). Better to use Heavy Wash (2 washes & two rinses0--plus the temp boost option on. I can't address the door/silverware basket issue though. Some of these models do have the abilkity to raise & lower the top rack just a bit, depends on the configuration from the particular retail outlet. Manhy of us here are fans of this old PowerClean system. Not anyuthing like what's used on their TallTub dishwasher models.

Something else I was wanting to know about this particular dishwasher is that will the plastic tub hold up to the years of use I plan on putting it through? |
