I have a Youngstown Kitchen Electric Sink. It is amazing! It was found in a demolition--still in the original box (which disintegrated when it was moved). Still has label in sink. Never used. Never hooked up. Just a few minor scratches and rust spots. It even has the original sink drain parts. See photos. Thanks for looking!

I would love to have one of these. I was disappointed when KitchenAid discontinued their modern electic sink. I think having a small sink DW would make clean up a hell of a lot easier and quicker. I saw a Youngstown machine like this at Jon Charles house and I was impressed with its beauty and performance.

Wow. I think this is the first time I've seen one without the windowed lid.

Bob, I think the later run models no longer had the window lid.  A shame because they are fun to watch!!

was fun! My best friend in Baltimore in the '50s had one in their kitchen, and I was mesmerized watching that chrome spin tube do it's thing through that window!
As I recall it did a pretty good cleaning job too.

It was the only d/w that I knew of in my neighborhood, built 1950 to 1955, and it was totally fascinating for a kid from a d/w-less household (we didn't get a d/w [KDS-15] until 1966). I'd HAVE to find a way to add a window if I had one of these, shouldn't be that difficult!!
