Hello,

A few weeks ago my beloved 1-18 starting having problems agitating and seemed like the jetcone was slipping. Thanks to a previous post I was able to learn about cleaning the rollers and that took care of the slipping but now I've noticed on smaller loads the washer seems to be shaking quite hard and vibrating while agitating but only on small loads. In the post about cleaning the rollers it mentioned that both rollers should spin freely. My front roller spins freely but the roller in the back is very tight and hard to move.

Also the tub brake has only worked on a rare occasion.

I cherish my washer and hope with your help I can figure this out.

Thanks so much

Sorry I can't offer any advice to help, because I'm not mechanically-gifted. But I hope some knowledgeable Frigidaire 1-18 washer experts will chime in here soon. I've been curious to read any replies to see what advice they may offer or suggest.

Goodluck Superba1/Jeff!
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you get some replies & help real soon...
:o)

If you're running it on normal speed with a water level any less than small you're probably going to get that shaking that you are talking about.  Mini setting with normal agitation equal vibrations.

try running a mini load on normal speed and see if i get the shaking and vibrating. I don't know if I've ever noticed or paid attention to that?
