Its in Cheshire! My Auntie had the exact same one but it died in 1999 and was replaced with an Indesit :( Im saying/guessing this one dates from 1989. I would bid but its not a Logic in my eyes. Not without the Cog dial. Its an ELECTRON god damn it!!!!! lol. but then i think of the Hoover noises and the rinses and the distribute and well everything. Maybe...... watch this space while I think. Nick |

Nick, its got your name on it !!! Same style/features of the first Hoover washer dryers, 5kg wash 3kg dry, has Autosensing drying, Temp starts high and switches lower with less moisture present...It is a Vented dryer not condensor... We sold loads of these at Trident/Wigfalls when they first came out, also made it in Beige/brown trim as well... Mike |

Yeah Mike i always wondered why water when the machine was washing/spinning never came out of the vent? Was there a safety valve or something? how did the system work? My aunt used to unclip the vent hose when the dryer was not being used as it was in her kitchen, and she had a removable piece of worktop over the machine so she could vent out the window when needed but not lose work space. if that makes sense. I also liked the fact it had a 45*c button which i would not use but the novelty of having over 40*c but not quite 50* always amused me. Wonders where it is. I think its time to register at ebay. .......goes off to find bank card. |

Mike im glad i bumped into you there. I completey forgot to go to my old Junior School and ask about the Servis Superheat. Will see about it on Wednesday when i get a day off, will keep you posted. On the lines of Twinnies and Single tubs has anybody smelt Persil HW and TT lately? Ive not bought a new box for a couple of years. A box lasts ages and when i opened the new one it smelt of Daz!!!! the old Daz hwtt powder. am very confused now. Has P and G started to make it for Lever? Be back later Chucklevision is on lol, to me, to you! Nick sticks tongue out at Darren, keep ya beady eyes off the Hoover lol! |

And her and my Uncle Paul got together in 1987 so maybe i was wrong. They were good machines, I remeber my aunts was never off as she tumble drys everything. 12 years she got out of it by the looks of it. The Indesit did 5 years and now shes got a Hoover WD again. Never really see her now but I bet the new Hoover aint still there now!!!! Just been looking at what was in the charts back in '87 and I can say they make nothing like they used to. Charts 1987 Pet Shop Boys, always on my mind Mel and Kim, FLM Whitesnake, Here I go again UB40 many rivers to cross (my favourite version) to name 4 Nick |

Ive asked the seller some questions and as soon as they get back to me il bid. i want to know where in Cheshire it is. and will they consider delivering it? Is the Vent hose included - i remeber the connecting end to the washer was rectangle and it will be a pain finding a hose to fit. also how old it is and whether there have been any problems small or big, you never know i guess and with it being my first machine in my own vintage collection im being very cautious. Hi We're in Congleton. I may be able to get it delivered, depends whereabouts you are. The machine is about 10 years old. There was a minor problem when the washer flooded about 12 months ago. An engineer came out to the machine and cleaned out the dispenser drawer and gave it a general service - no problems since. Vent hose included. Thanks Sarah Congleton is about 15 miles away so il tell her im in Crewe and then when i hear back il bid. but it looks as though the other bidders are in hmmmmmm. Nick |

Hi Nick I've spoken to my contact. I'm afraid the cheapest they could deliver to Crewe would be £20. Anyway, at least you can have a think. Yeh, I like it here too - 5 minutes walk to town and some great restaurants. Thanks Sarah Im going for it as long as the bid does not go above a certain amount lol. I want it to be cheap just incase i have to, NO DONT SAY IT OR IT WILL HAPPEN lol. Nick |
