Wow! That has to be a very early version of the Synchro-Chime range.  Those solid surface units were last used in the early 1940s Moffatt ranges.

That Synchro-Chime control is beautiful.

I've never seen one with the solid burners before.

Interesting range

The early ('38 - '40) Frigidaire ranges had similar surface units.

The Synchochime unit is very interesting. Was it used on any other brands?

Looks to be in excellent condition.

I notice the burner knobs lack any markings. Was it just assumed that the cook would use common sense and as you turned the knob heat would increase? Continuous or are there detents?

Pic #3: What are those two small windows on either side of the Synchro-Chime? I think the right hand one says 'grill', but I'm not sure.

Thanks, it's really beautiful.

I think the control says bake on the left, and grill on the right. Since there is a G past 500 on the thermostat, I would assume grill means the same as broil.

Ah! That makes sense. Thank you so much.

Neat Range

I imagine on the burner controls the little window on the knob changes colors or has numbers etc that allow to chose the correct heat, I am sure that these are click settings and not infinite controls, probably has 5, 6 or 7 different heat settings.
