The '63 LK dryer I put into service a few months ago has just about used up all the remaining air freshener solution. Any suggestions what I could use as a replacement solution?

I would think things like pure vanilla, lemon, peppermint flavorings might work....

other ideas is you can now find Little Tree auto air freshener in pump bottles, which you can open and refill those little containers...

or even liquid potpourri would work....

as with any of them, choose a scent you would like your clothes to smell like...

I don't know if anyone here remembers the GE Dryers that had the little atomizer of air freshener with the activator button next to the Press to Start switch on the control panel, but the fragrance Glow by JLo is the exact same thing. You can give a spritz or two near the back of the dryer or wherever the air intake is, when it goes into cooldown and you will get a nicely diluted scent reminiscent of GE's scent. With the GE you had to wait until almost the end of the dry cycle and with the Kenmore it was an automatic deodorizing process.

Whatever you do, do not get any of that amber sludge in that bottle on you or anything you value because the stink is almost impossible to get rid of.

Fragrance by JLo

I had a very unpleasant and surreal experience working on a late night talk show that she was a guest on a few years back. I won't go in to details, but she is a without a doubt the most narcissistic and miserable person I've ever been in the presence of. I would use skunk oil as an air freshener before anything with her name on it!

Airhead freshener Bottle

Get rid of that bottle before you have to call a hazmat team.Nasty stuff. If you have any enemies pour it on them.
