The outside of this house was used in the series. It's in LA, not in Florida.

I found the house on Zillow too.
www.zillow.com/homes/245-... There is another picture of the kitchen there. It looks like there is some kind of cooktop there. The empty spot would be for a refrigerator then. I love that kitchen including the colour.

Guess I'm confussed I was at Universal Studio in March 1995; the tour guide took us by the Golden Girls house and their neighbor ( don't remember the name but they had the dog named Dyfus). The house was only a front held up by 2x4's as was the next door neighbors. | ||

Not A Front
That's definitely the house.
For 3M, that house would have to be in a quiet area 20 miles away from any type of industry, include at least 25 acres of lush, easily accessible quality land with a year around creek, full water rights, and no neighbors within a circumference of at least one mile.  Even without the Golden Girls provenance, that's not a bad price for ritzy Beverly Hills-adjacent Bel Air. This house, located half-way between San Francisco and San Jose in San Carlos (certainly not an area to get excited about) is on the market for 3 million dollars. 2,600 sq ft.

See, I told you that asking price was a real bargain. Upscale Brentwood is on a par with Bel Air.
