Hi Matthew

According to the service bumpf it states that the bearings are non serviceable on these and you have to replace the tub. This might be why you can’t find them. The parts diagram only shows the face seal. That’s not to say it can’t be done but you’d have to strip the machine down to see.

Cheers
S

Hi Matthew

Just looked up an old qualtex catalogue, they are the same as the logic 1100/1200/1300 bearings and seal.

I know they can be done, I think with the introduction of the plastic tub, hoover just supplied a new tub complete for there own service technicians, well that's my theory.

all the best

Mathew

i stripped the machine down entirely, after a lot of searching i found a bearing set that will fit it, hopefully they actually arrive and i haven't been scammed.

the space between the drum spider and the inner drum was full of limescale and sludge, i tried hosing it, that didn't work, so i got out the pressure washer and blasted it out.

the bearings eventually came out with a lot of swearing

hopefully the machine will go back together as i took it apart

thanks
Matthew
