Is it just a washer or a baby combo? I swear, I don't know how all of these Brit show kitchens get by with just one tiny machine.

Yes, it is from a JMG discussion about a woman who has ripped off the government with her personal spending and you have to tab down the screen to get to the clip from ABFAB. Someone posted it since it's about PR. I was hoping someone could tell me about the laundry appliance.

I didn't even see anything resembling a washer in that clip.

Ah, I gave up early thinking I had missed whatever it was that I was supposed to spot.

They are all Zanussi appliances Tom and all, prob the best of the last decent washer dryers and refrigeration, in many of our UK kitchens, my sis had one, jetsystem spray jets, usually spin speed 1200 - 1500rpm, condenser washer dryers.

" I don't know how all of these Brit show kitchens get by with just one tiny machine" _ Youve been round John too long ha ha...

I suppose if we dont know or didnt have have big berta washers & dryers you get used to our standard size machines. Often and quick solves the laundry situation not banking it all up for a Friday night session etc.
The Zanussis where the original Jetsystem , heater in a box under the tub and powerful jets to spray the washload, great range and very popular.

Thank you, Mike. Did the washer also heat the water? Did you ever use one?

being 1 of the greatest fans of AbFab on here and having seen the earlier series many times, I can confirm that the machines in the kitchen were Zanussi's, in the 1st and 2nd series, there was a 1990-93 model, most likely to be a JetSystem, then in series 3 when the kitchen was being redone after Patsy accidentally burned it down, it became a Directa model but after that, the washing machine was no longer present in the kitchen so what they had afterwards was unknown. :)

Zanussi Jetsystem

Morning Tom

Yes they do have a heater, the original Zanussi Jetsystem had the heater in a box under the drum not in the drum, so it used a smaller amount of water and this sprayed over the clothes through a jet at the top of the door seal.

Ive used many, they had the first models connected up on the sales floor to demonstrate with small plastic balls in the drum to show the Jetsystem action.
