Ok I found someone basically giving away a KDS-15 for parts or repair. I've been talking to them and they sent me photos. I had mentioned it in my other thread but wanted to keep the extra stuff separate from that thread.

The owner told me it leaked water out the front. The thing looks to be in excellent shape, with the only rust being right around the heating element at the tub. Could be the leak.

The kicker:. It's 6 hours away, which coincidentally is the same distance I went for my kds-58.

Is this worth me picking up and repairing?

If you have the storage space and the ambition, go for it.
