This set made it to its new home in southeast Texas this week. They are not much to look at but I think they will look good restored.
Powered up washer and motor ran. No spin or agitate but the timer advances. Had to reset timer dial as it was not correctly lined up with the correct cycles. Dryer wouldn’t start but motor hummed so either motor is stuck from sitting or a new motor will be in order. I didn’t get much done with them yet. The porcelain is nice and cleaned up nicely. I think the cabinets will clean up ok but didn’t have time for that so they are still in as found uncleaned condition. I did manage to fix an important aspect of each machine as shown in pictures below. |
