For a moment I thought that was an odd setup and then realized it makes logical sense from a wiring perspective.

Building a dryer or oven next to a refrigerator is not the best layout though.

On an outside wall, good vent for a built-in dryer.

Well, that's a first for me! I've never seen a dryer installed below a wall oven. I wonder where the washer is? As for the wiring, I hope they don't share the same circuit. NEC requires an individual circuit for electric dryers, and wall ovens may only share a circuit with another oven, or a cooktop.

I would guess the washer hook up is near sink for plumbing. As for code requirements, DIY'er only use them for suggestions.
