More thanks to Ben for sharing a first for the Ephemera Library. I just posted the owners manuals to several UK Hotpoint Filter-Flo washers, Hotpoint Twin Tubs and a really cool English language Siemens laundry products brochure for anyone who may wish to have these.

Thank you Ben and Robert for sharing these. The Siemens brochure is one of the most awesome brochures I've ever seen. Siemens had many different washers and dryers, both frontloaders and toploaders (including dryers), you don't see so much variety anymore.

Siemens was part of BSH Home Appliances that was founded in 1967. The Constructa toploader I had is similar to the Siemens WA4600 and the Bosch rotary ironer similar to the Siemens WB1600.

A special model is the Siemens Siwamat 520, a frontloader of only 55cm wide. Available in more countries, but especially designed for the Swiss market, where 55cm was the standard for built in appliances instead of 60cm as in most other European countries.

Many Thanks for the booklets Robert & Ben, I do have the Hotpoint but very tatty & worn so what a nice surprise.

This series and the previous models had probably the best illustrated of the UK Hotpoint brochures, using many funky illustrations to show how to use.

And yes we do have all the models in all the colors covering the 30 yrs of production ha ha..

The scans look great, Robert. Thank you for taking the time to add them to AE!

Mike - someday I'd like to see a UK Hotpoint in action, in person. A guy can dream, right?

When this dreadful year is over and the world returns to something more like we knew as normality we would welcome visitors from the other side of the pond :)

Thanks for uploading these, I have a 15792 so it’s great to see what the manual looks like

Kind regards,

Jamie
