If I’m not mistaken, I believe this is the first generation DD Whirlpool washer based on the prototype model that John L has. The only Whirlpool model with a spin-drain? Looks like a nice pair.

The first WP model was LB5500XKW0.  It did not have a clothes guard ring on the basket.

LA7450XM_0 is a 3rd-year model per model-year coding.

K = 1982
L = 1983
M = 1984

Granny had an LA7400XMW2 which was spin-drain so LA7450XN0 should be as well.
