Interesting, like a Kitchen Briva but you can't convert the dishwasher into a sink . I wonder if the lid pops up with the cycle is complete?

Thanks for posting this Phil, I was always disappointed that KA pulled these off the market so fast, they never let any demand build for them.
This DW design is perfect foe easy use without bending over and the you consider that most people pre-rinse anyway and everyone loves playing with water so I dare say these would be well liked if people actually tried them.
The major problem with selling them is you need to incorporate it in to the kitchen when you are building it.

They mention an accessory you can buy to turn the dishwasher to a sink.

Interesting but challenging. Right at this moment I'm actually working on a similar project, however, the main concern is the sewer pipe height in most homes. |

Anyone installing a new kitchen with one of these DWs can easily lower the drain pipe height if needed.
This is done all the time, with the trend toward deep kitchen sinks + a disposer the drain pipe height is usually less than 12"high on the back wall anyway, plenty low enough for a counter mounted DW & Sink.

I want one of these! Thank you for posting this. Having a small sink connected dishwasher will address my needs perfectly. The question, of course, is how well will this perform and for how long. I think it's worth a shot.
According to ServSafe, sanitization can occur at temperatures above 150 F if maintained more than a couple of minutes. |
