I just acquired this washer and am needing help identifying it. The serial number is 771386 however from all the pictures I have found online it looks much older than what the serial number would say it is. I am planning on putting a long frame single cylinder gas engine on it. It looks to me like a model 92 but from what I can find on the serial number it would indicate it is a model 32 or 33. It doesn't have the large gear shift style lever for on and off it has the linkage style one that you pivot or rotate to engage. Any help would be appreciated. I am new to collecting Maytag motors and washers so have a lot to learn. Is it possible someone pieced this together from several machines?

You have a hybrid!

The power unit, legs and base/frame is from a Model 90. The wringer and tub are from a Model 30. (Model 90 tubs were two pieces, with the top riveted onto the bottom, and there was no "bead" around the top or bottom.)

Also, the serial number is missing the letter after the number. That is what indicates the month/year of manufacture. Apparently, the previous owner erased that somehow. Also, the previous owner would have had to have drilled a hole on the top right of the tub's crown to accommodate the shift lever.
