But this is the first one in the fixed up Laundromat. I have run a few tests and loads and it seems to work fine, no leaks. Sure is a fun machine. |

But that's why they put a window in the door! The kids get a real kick out of the front-loaders. Probably the same as kids in the 50s did. |

I wonder if the novelty will wear off when we actually ask them to DO some wash. |

There was a pretty bad rust leak here in the bottom of the outer tub - lotsa water. Rather than deal with putty I drilled out a clean 1/2 inch hole. |

You sure work fast. The pictures of the washer running and your kids watching is priceless. Be careful or you just might end up raising a group of classic appliance addicts! It was a pleasure to meet you today and have wondeful conversation. You are a very nice guy. Best of luck with figuring out that dryer. Maybe somebody here has a lead on a matching washer to it. You never know. Patrick |

Hi Greg, Yeah the dials maybe were added later by the owner? The red one I think is a temperature and might be original and the other two are definitly both timers. Don't know how this works. |

Brian, It looks like you did a great job on the Westy's. I too am wondering if you had to do anything to the boot. Thanks for sharing. |
