I have the board and console and water inlet valve and washplate/impeller from one that someone pitched. it was already crushed so I was unable to save the whole machine even though I really wanted to. Is it remotely possible to convert my GWL11 to the LED Panel model WL42T26DW1? I want to get cleaner clothes than the LG but save a little water. I can also use the auto level on the Ecosmart panel with the washplate or the medium level. Just thought I could use the Aquasmart parts to make it work perfectly. I would just have the bleach and softener hoses zip tied over the wash tub top so they just dump extra water in when they would normally flush.

No. AquaSmart takes a different pump, which requires a different tub to mount it. The AquaSmart motor board cannot run the GWL11 pump. The SmartDrive motor electrical characteristics are different on GWL11 (Phase 6) and AquaSmart (Phase 7 or higher). The AquaSmart board cannot run the GWL11 motor. See the label on the AquaSmart motor board, S7SPL? That means Series/Phase 7, Smart Pump, Low profile agitator. There are some other differences but that's enough. |
