My washer is starting to make a grinding type of noise in the drain and spin cycles,any suggestions on what to check? |

Pump seems to work fine started spinning made noise motor cut out waited 15 minutes or so everything came back on still made noise when spinning |

Tub bearing seizing up or something is binding the tub since the motor overheated. "Grinding" sounds like metal on metal hence the suspected tub bearing. |

I will check other things as you suggested, there is no set screw on my agitator how do you remove that from the shaft? What other problems should I look for first . Thank you |
