Recently found a great transporter for pick-up, transport and delivery in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Mid-west states. He's located in Vermont and has a near new Ford F-150 w/ 8' bed and cap, and can easily carry a washer/dryer pair. Recently made a run for me from Vermont to CT and back and did a great job at a very reasonable price. He's just getting into the transport business and is very flexible, he's also a super nice guy.

For Canadians: attention turquoisedude and PhilR! once the. border opens he can pick-up items anywhere and they can be picked up at his location in St.Albans, but he can't go into Canada.

Anyone interested contact Gordon Giffin at: g.giffin@hotmaqil.com or phone (802) 309-5459.

Highly recommended

Hi there.

I am the shipper in question on this thread. I have no problem going anywhere in the lower 48 states. Prices are negotiated on an individual basis. I run several different business lines, most transportation related, so scheduling sometimes can be a little complicated. Once I take on a job, it will get done, even if I have to carry the items on my back. Just kidding, I always do find a way to get the job done. If you find something you need shipped, just call, or shoot me an email. My number is (802) 309-5459, and my email address is g.giffin@hotmail.com

Gordon welcome and thank you for posting your information here. I am always looking for a good person to ship some vintage machines from somewhere in the U.S. to southeast Texas. I’ve had bad luck with several shippers. It seems with most of them they do a job for me and when I try to get them to do another one they become unreliable or just won’t respond. I’m old school and understand being busy for sure but I don’t understand the idea of just flat out not responding. You were given high marks by a couple of folks here but it didn’t sound like you came to Texas. Now that I see you do I will definitely contact you next time I need a machine from across the U.S. Thanks again for posting, I for one really appreciate someone with good ethics.
