I'm deeply wondering if does ONLY Staber produce and sell those type (TLHAWashers) of mahcine overthere in US??? :-?
Is there any producer else who make such wonderful (IMHO) machines? At least does anyone "sell" them (I mean machines like those produced abroad and sold overthere) in the US market? It should have to exist somewhat...a brand not very known, maybe...
I really think that if some manufacturer improved that system it would be the most wonderluf revolution in US laundry world!
I was an exchange student in Holland and the family had a top loading horizontal axis washer. I don't know the brand, I was only 17 and didn't pay attention to such things. I think it may have been a washer-dryer combo because the clothes seemed to come out dry. I don't remember them hanging that much laundry in the back yard.
In May I visited the Ukraine and the family that hosted me had a top loading horizontal axis washer in the bathrom. Didn't see it in action. I assume it was Russian made. They had a towel and a basket of laundry on top of it, so I couldn't see the brand.
