The price is insane, $1500. I've never seen any norge like this. I figured I would post it for posterity.

This stove has paperwork in the bottom, and what looks to be like a meat probe. After some research, here is a 1962 advertisement for the "Norge Fiesta"

I've never seen, nor heard of, this Norge range until now. They must not have been on the market long, or perhaps didn't hold up well. Something tells me it wasn't the quality of the Frigidaire Flair, Hotpoint Hallmark, or Tappan Fab 400, but more like that Roper or Kenmore like my Aunt Julie had.

I think these may have been offered as Moffat in both Canada and the UK.

Amazingly, I've come across a few of these up here - the Moffat-badged versions were quite popular.

Norge also offered an Americana version of their gas range with a lower oven, a fixed cooktop and the upper oven, but not for long.

Bt this time

Borg Warner was farming out their wall ovens and cooktops to Modern Maid in Tennessee, so i think they must have had them build this too.

Moffat Fiesta

I have this exact stove Which I had believed to be an import from canada?
Amyways.I tried phoning Moffat dealerships in canada as I wanted to get new oven elements and a spare 8" burner. Each place I spoke to said the stove was too old? so its interesting that the cooker was for for sale in the states under a different name
Do you guys think it would be possible to obtain spares in the states?

I would like to have spares so I can keep the old girl running.I have never come across another here in the uk.clock is dead also but as my stove is dated 1961 I guess this would be normal.I also didnt have the temp probe.

It really is a great cooker,It even has a heated shelf at the back of the burners and power drive on the oven shelves.Love it love it
pete
