Thanks for the link Oliger!

We’re headed down to Knoxville this weekend to pick them up. $152.50 for the set. It’s an A608 Washer and a DG309 Dryer. Date code is CG… so I think April, 1979. See pics!

Anything I should be aware of with these?

Don't use a hand truck on the front panels. Cart the washer from the back and the dryer from one of the sides. Tape the lid down on the washer and the door on the dryer.  Watch the vent on the dryer so it doesn't get crushed. Long ago, I use to pack an old comforter around the tub of the washer before I got a tub block.

Don't use the plastic duct that's sitting behind the dryer in that picture. Buy a good one, it costs a lot less than replacing your house.
Even more important than that, enjoy! I have a set of these myself.

Picked them up today!

Thanks for the advice qsd-dan and oliger. I loaded them (by myself) as y’all instructed and that washer was HEAVY. They’re strapped in safe and secure for the ride back home. We’re staying with relatives an hour North in Speedwell for the weekend. Tennessee has some gorgeous and peaceful countryside. Over here, it hasn’t changed like it has eastward in the Asheville, NC area where I grew up.
