Afternoon all,
Hope you are all well. So i have just had a “new” vintage twintub delivered from Belgium, hardly used. Can anyone tell me anything about it. It’s a Falda 1003 twin tub washer. I would say dating from the late 50’s - it is a beast of a machine !! Wash tub empties bia pump but the spinner is gravity drain. It is in great condition. Regards Keith (UK) |

Funny, a much older brochure of this brand appeared on this Dutch auction site. Apparently the company was founded in 1902.

Falda began with various washing machines, wringer and other laundry devices early in 1900's IIRC. As technology evolved they began producing extractors (spin driers) and eventually twin tub washer/driers.
www.retroscoop.com/toestellen.php... Over years have lusted after one of those big ole Falda spin driers. But as per they always appeared on Germany eBay where sellers would not ship locally much less to USA. Family history of founder of Falda I believe. www.fossiliraptor.be/informations... |
