Hi all, i am looking to replace the refrigerator in our nyc apartment asap as the old unit Frigidaire Model number - FFTR1022QW just died. The friend we have caretaking the place just notified me, i think it is easier to replace than fix. The temp set lights in the refrigerator section are flashing in unison, there is no sound from the unit. It is warming up fast and probably the control board is toast. By the time i get a repair guy there i will be into it for the same as a new unit, so i think i will just replace it. Any recommendations? See pic for what i found, and link for where i am looking. If you know a better store that serves nyc let me know, thx. CLICK HERE TO GO TO stricklybojack's LINK

I went with the LG above. The 5 cubic - 9 cubic ft refrigerator market is not a lot of bang for the buck. You can get a better bigger unit for the same money, but the space just about demands this size. FYI- i went with appliances connection (Brooklyn based) and phoned in the order and got a many weeks faster delivery date for the same price than i would have online. |
