LA6800XK washer = 1982 model year

LHE7800 dryer = 1980-81 model year

They're matched for capacity, both are 18lb super-size.

I mostly see the four-temperature combo lacking the warm wash with warm rinse the five-temperature combination gives you…

Dave, hang at the machine for a few mins until the warm wash fill is done, then press the Hot/Warm button for a warm rinse to follow.

Yes I did that with my mom’s Maytag that was like that even switching it back to the Warm/Cold after the Warm Rinse did fill so I knew with the clothes being warm from that rinse knew they were washed in the warm and not mistakingly in Hot…

Remember the days of a certain “collecting” what had to finally be washed and did “them” that way…

Along with the 5 temp selections (already mentioned above) it is missing the dura-white tub.
