If the manual enters the public arena, it's because someone has let it escape. (A bitter employee perhaps?) An issue with your new baby? If it's programming/options/diagnostics then it probably follows the G 6000. |

Can't find one yet. But entering service and diagnostic modes are the same for mine. Though with the higher end touch-button versions you might wanna try the way for the current washers (instead of turning the machine on with the start button held, you turn the machine on with the door open, hold start and then close the door). |

If you have a fully integrated model my methodology won't work. You need access to the buttons with the door closed. Maybe pulling the machine out a bit would work, but really can't help with that for sure. |

Never thought about the fact that the door had to be closed when pressing the buttons, but I guess the door was closed on my prior machine. Thanks, Henene |

But since machines switched to touch sensitive start buttons, the trigger is no longer turning the machine on but closing the door. For washers for example it is door open machine on. Hold Start, close door. Then flashing starts and then you either press 3 or 5 times like usual |

Thanks for your help. I can get into the programming mode, but I would like to know more about how the wash program algorithms work and what the actual setting modifies the machine.
I have a G7919 and have seen that some owners of the G 7000 series have had a remote update for a 2nd interim rinse, but I haven't got it yet. The new app is absolutely horrible. |

You can't get to the PC port either, and for test cycles, the door has to be closed. So my assumption is that service personnel is supposed to pull the machine out at least a few centimetres no matter what. |

Here's what the Technical Documentation states for the fully-integrated Excella. No mention of having to shut the door - although I suppose you'd better shut the door before testing the recirc pump if water is inside the dishwasher. 😁

Yes, unless you have a touch start button. Here's how it's done on a W1: Same goes probably for the G7000. |

Rod: Will you tell us what options are available in your G 7000 series programming menu? |
