It could be leaking oil from a GE FF
Even back in their day we would not sell rebuilt GE FF washers, there was just too many problems with either oil on clothing, oil on floors, small items of clothing caught in the pump and walking and vibration or the machine, when we rebuilt a WP-KM BD washer we could easily give our 1 year P&L full warranty and almost never go back in the warranty and have the machine last from 5-20 years.
The 2nd best used washer we used to sell were MTs but they had more warranty calls for walking and shutting off with unbalanced loads, MTs were also more difficult and time consumoing to rebuild.
