Bob, is it thin enough to fit inside? Should be 24" or less. If you have a convertable Miata just take off the top and lift it into the passenger seat.

Our family had the built-in version of this DW and while it cleaned ok it was by far the most unreliable appliance anyone in our family ever had.

 

The quality of the materials, finishes and poor assembly are what earned D&M DWs if not last place for reliability tied for last place.

 

Neat piece of history but not something that would work for long even if this DW was never used.
