A Rare and Beautiful Refrigerator/Freezer I was thinking Philco as well. The thing I noticed is the gold "Styron 475" sticker on the side of the door shelving. That's the same as our '61 Wards Tru-Cold freezer had. Since it's a Dow product, I suppose more manufacturers than just Philco used it because I'm fairly certain Philco didn't have a deal with Wards for refrigeration products.
And just for the record, contrary to Dow's claim and the image on the sticker, Styron 475 cracked and/or broke just fine. There was an almond-shaped gash that can be seen at the bottom above the kick plate, and one door shelf retainer on the hinged side broke and that shelf couldn't be used for anything heavy.
