Roper RAS8333RQ4 approx. 2005 model
Machine has preformed very well for several years after purchasing used.

When washer gets a out balance load the machine doesn't cut off as it previous done according to my daughter.

No more out balance loads than normal (few now and then).

Any tips as to problem to check etc.

The OOB switch is integrated in the lid switch if I remember correctly.

Could be a bad switch or bad wires, most likely.

Very few direct-drive models had an off-balance switch.

WP and KM Catalyst models did. A few other upper Kenmores (such as Lady KMs), probably no other Whirlpools, and highly unlikely any Ropers or Estates or Admirals or Amanas or Maytags or Inglis or Crosly.

My Maytag does all have an out of balance switch built in to the lid switch. I disabled mine but with the lid open, if it goes out of balance it will push the timer knob in and shut down. But mine is a 1984.

There were no direct-drive Maytag toploaders until after Whirlpool bought Maytag in 2006.
