One can only dream
Perhaps, there is something in the works. Listed on Amazon, repair parts labelled "Speed Queen Washer Dryer Combo"
The AI senses something a afoot. It is possible Marathon is simply an experimental marketing front for Alliance. If all goes horribly wrong, an independent start takes the blame and then fades away. The Speed Queen name remains unassociated and un-tarnished. If a smash success, Alliance takes credit and Marathon and Speed Queen becomes one in the same. I mean, how many companies wish they could try something daring without sacrificing their brand? Perhaps one day Speed Queen will take the market for combos, portables, thin twins, and other goods.
