Hi, I am hoping you can offer some assistance.

I have an LG DLE5955W Dryer that is approximately 13 years old. When I try to use the dryer, all the lights will come on around the cycle selector and remain lit, but I cannot change any of the settings. The check filter reminder blinks (but this is normal). This is an intermittent issue. A few minutes later, it seems to work, but I there is no one certain thing I do that seems to make the difference.

The lint filter is cleaned every load. The dryer connects to a vent directly behind it and out of the house that way. Very short and straight connection. No lint build up.

Clothes still dry in the same amount of time as they have in the past. Drum rotates freely.

Have unplugged and plugged back in.

Is it a control board issue, door issue, or something else? Fixable or time to replace?

Thanks!
