Take the belts off and spin everything independently.
Seizing drum bearings from lack of lubrication is about the #1 reason these dryers are put out to pasture. Blower bearings and the bearing in the reduction pulley also need attention. Lubricating all of these areas every 20 years is essential for long life, and they will live forever if done. |
