About a year ago, I replaced both the belts on this dryer. Just now, I replaced one of the temperature limit switches. In testing, the dryer drum won't turn and the motor pulley just slips. Anybody have an idea what is going on?

You just have to see what is binding, the first thing I would check is the blower bearing.

Might need to disassemble everything in the back and give it a thorough oiling and greasing of the idler/speed reduction pulley. Plenty of info on the archives on Maytag Halo Of Heat dryers electric and gas,

Take the belts off and spin everything independently.

Seizing drum bearings from lack of lubrication is about the #1 reason these dryers are put out to pasture. Blower bearings and the bearing in the reduction pulley also need attention. Lubricating all of these areas every 20 years is essential for long life, and they will live forever if done.
