 The pump is not functionally involved in the machine filling with water, although it may run concurrently with filling at some points of the cycle. The inlet valve surely either has caught a bit of debris that is obstructing the diaphragm from fully closing or it's internally worn. Whether it can be disassembled for cleaning (or rebuild if a compatible kit of parts can be found) depends on the design of it. Replacement of the valve may be the required route. | ||
