Good afternoon, I'm not sure if this belongs in the right thread, but here goes nothing. Who was the first to come up with the tough on dirt campaign? Who started it? CLICK HERE TO GO TO GELaundry4ever's LINK |

Googling it seems like it was Whirlpool used that tag line for their laundry appliances.
Either 1983 or 1986 Whirlpool featured print adds and TV spots. www.vintagepaperads.com/1... www.bonanza.com/listings/1983-Wh... |

Did anybody else in the appliance industry follow suit with a similar campaign? If so, who else did and what was their approach? |

Here's a video of a whirlpool washer in action. It may be an older model, but it still applies until they were last made in 2010. I bet these could clean construction clothes and dirty overalls. CLICK HERE TO GO TO GELaundry4ever's LINK |
