Half the time my washer dosent want to spin during the rinse cycle after it did all the washing. Itll just sit there and make a low hum noise and pause the time. I
took the back off and check if it was clogged, few quarters in there and drained it with a few gallons of water to make sure its clear. I then reset it according to the manual and it did all the cycles. Ran it with a single pair of pants, went smooth. Tried washing more stuff and it always go back to stopping. I then try drain and spin cycle and it does nothing but lock the door. Then i unplugged the power for 3 minutes. Tried it again and drain and spin work. I tried closing the door multiple of ways since it does have sag so i lift it and closed it,adjusted door latch so it aligns. I did everything i can think of. Not sure if its electrical problem or the sensor where the latch goes into. It runs fine now after 30 minutes of turning it off and on and testing out the drain and spin cycle. Wife pushing me to hire someone to fix it but if they dont see a problem , they cant fix it. Not sure if this is normal for a washer but when i try a normal cycle, it will lock, then unlock then it will lock again then it will begin washing. I want to blame it on a faulty lock switch.

The lock, unlock, lock sequence at Start of a cycle is normal. It’s a safety feature as a warning to a child inside that the machine is starting. Should do that on all cycle choices.
