so, i recently started the restoration of this 1978 Brastemp (Brazilian Whirlpool) that i've found some mounths ago.
she received new spin tub and a new center post with new bearings! | ||

exactly! the soak is part of the normal cycle...it takes 2 minutes agitating and 28 minutes to soak (on "super luxo" model) or 36 minutes (on "luxo" model). After soaking, the washer automatically continues to the normal cycle;
the "suaves" cycle feature low agitation and high speed spin without the cool-down. after 1985, the "suaves" cycles has substituted to permanent press cycle thats just switched for high speed agitation and low speed spin without cool-down. both cycles has 25min | ||
