That was repainted.  Avocado wasn't part of the appliance colours pallette back when the IronRites were on the market.

Would have to research further, but know Ironrite did offer model 95 in pink. Avocado was another popular appliance color of the period, so don't see why it wouldn't be offered as well.

Ironrite was shaking trees trying to goose sales by 1950's through their final years. Offering something other than plain ole appliance white was something everyone else was doing at the time.

I had the same thought.  I looked again at the photos on the listing, and the shot of the data plate shows signs of overspray and/or poor masking with green on the plate itself.  This shade of green (avocado) wasn't introduced to the industry until 1966 and at that time it was a shaded color, with darker edges.  The solid color version didn't appear until 1977.  I believe even the 1966 date is later than one would associate with the photo and condition of the owner's manual, included with the appliance.  If Ironrite offered a green at the same time as the pink one referenced, it would have probably been a more-minty green than avocado green.  This one could have left the factory as a green one, with the cabinet updated later with a new coat of paint, I suppose.

This one definitely looks like a re-paint job, but Ironrite was still making ironers in the mid 70s so they could have made an avocado one don’t know for sure, should I ask my brother Jeff he was working for a dealer that was still selling and servicing them in the mid-70s
