Isn't it funny how the cycles on this machine are programmed to provide a warm wash with a cold rinse. On the regular washers, the warm wash button provided a warm rinse. Funny. |

It is strange. The only warm rinse was the 2 whites cycles. This was their first all pushbutton model. Did the W'n'W cycle have the cooldown segment like the later 900 series models? Or did that not happen until the 900 sreies. Wasn't that sequence also a separate 2nd timer? These models were the only Maytags with the cooldown sequence until the actual PP cycle on the timer dial introduced later. Me thinks the only cycles with slow spin speed was Delicate and Wool. Not W'n'W.

Here is a copy of the cycle charts for models 160/A900/A902/early A906. W'n'W does include a cool down starting with the 1960 160.
