Hello everybody. I recently went to Big Al's Laundromat on Saturday after having been fed up with the Maytags on my dorm at SFA. I had a great experience with the huebsch front load washers and dryers there. It was a brand new facility and I'm planning on returning there to do laundry tonight.
They're the washers which have hot, warm, cold, blankets, delicates, extra wash, and extra rinse. I have a a question.
What does the extra wash do? I have yet to test it out.
By the way, these are the card operated ones and they do the job right the first time with absolutely no issues. I can get my clothes washed in 26 minutes and dried in 30. The ones on the dorm got me agitated and wasted too much time. Sorting remained the same.

my observations

I went to the laundromat and I have observed what extra wash did. It sent water through the prewash compartment. These were hard mount gravity draining machines. Once again, my clothes came out perfectly clean and dry from the huebsch equipment. My friend who was with me could tell there was a tsunami going on inside the washer and a windstorm going on in the dryer. The draining sounded like somebody frying something in the commercial kitchen.

How much do they charge for a wash and dry ? Twenty six minutes for a complete wash sounds great.

total price

I paid a total cost of $10 to do 3 loads. It was well worth it. The machines do a great job.

all front load hard mount

They're all hard mount front loaders which actually use water. I love the turbulent wash action.

laundry adventure

As I was at the laundromat yesterday, I decided to go on an adventure walking around the place. What did I see? from the lady who owned it told me, somebody mixed everything into1 load. I thought to myself, Somebody's clothes will be dingy. I did the typical 3 loads that were already sorted. They were all full of huebsch.

gravity drain

Did I mention they were gravity drain machines? They sound like somebody was frying chicken and French fries as it drained.
