I know they made 3 models for the 15 series... Custom, Imperial, and Supurba.

I'd really like a Supurba, but what are all the key differences between the 3 models?

Thanks so much!

Custom has the one cycle and no adjustable tines in the upper rack. Iperial has adjustable tines and small itesms basket in the upper rack and pushbutton cycles are full cycle and rinse & hold. Superba has adjustable upper rack and tines and cycles are Full Cycle, Rinse & Hold, Utility Utensils, and Sani Cycle

The Superba also came with the rinse agent dispenser and had three after rinses, the last one only filled with one gallon of water to make the heating of the water to 180F practicable if the Sani Cycle was selected.

Thank you! I have the opportunity for an Imperial, but I think I'm going to hold out for a Supurba. If anyone has an early KDS-15 or KDS-55 (lighter panel) near Virginia, I'm interested. I'll be going to Georgia next month, so that might be possible as well.

Thanks!

I'd love a portable, but I've got a KDS-58 coming I can use for the cabinet if need be.

"the last one only filled with one gallon of water to make the heating of the water to 180F practicable if the Sani Cycle was selected."

Are you sure it's only 1 gallon? The KDS-18 fills with 2 gallons on the final sani rinse. 3 gallons for the pre wash, main wash, first purge, and 2 rinse.
