hi

Hi Karl, www.antiqueappliances.com... sells restored stoves and refrigerators ........... as far as washers, dryers and dishwashers, keep an eye on ebay, or you can do the painful search of contacting recyclers and appliance dealers offering them a monetary reward for what your looking for. You would then be responsible for restoring those items yourself. I personally don't know of anyone who "restores appliances" as a profession. Quite a few members here do restore their own. The "search" can be negative, difficult and time consuming. I made over fifty contacts in one year and only two found old appliances for me. But that is how I acquired the collection I have thus far. Best of luck to you, I know this is probably not the answer you were looking/hoping for but I do hope it helps some :)

appliance search

It can be done but it won't be easy. make sure it's a complete unit. You can always get the appliance refinished if you have to. Owners manuals for the appliances can be found on fleaBay. I found my '58 Hotpoint wall oven on some old lady's porch just waiting for the trashman to come. Saved it in the nick of time. Had the doors refinished in pink. You might want to stick to one color, it will make your search easier. Check older neighborhoods,do alot of networking and put lots of feelers out. There are alot of websites for gas oven appliances but virtually none for the electric as the gas seems to be more popular. Read up on how these things work too as you're going to be doing alot of cleaning and restoring. You have to be really creative during the restoration process and your brain and your patience will be taxed to the limit. Good luck.

Hi Karl,

I look at ebay for dishwashers a lot and I found this link. This person in Maryland has a GE dishwasher, stove and fridge in Turquoise. From the picture of the dishwasher, they look in nice shape.

Mike
