Well... Not fast enough, apparently. Someone had already called early yesterday afternoon to buy it. The sales person who took the call couldn't do the transaction, so he/she was first in line when the shop owner opened this morning. I called as soon as they opened, but in all fairness, there was someone ahead of me. I've not heard back so I have to assume that the other person bought the washer.

Thanks, Ralph The lady at the antique shop was very nice and said the other person had called at 2:00-something yesterday afternoon, which was several hours earlier than Kenny's post. So the buyer must have found it independently of aw.org. Based on what she told me, I think I know who bought the washer, but I'll leave that announcement to him.

Ken, Ah ha - so you're the one. I have the pic of this dryer saved and now I have a pic of the matching washer. If I remember correctly, this was listed on ebay in about 2004 or so, and sold quickly. I always wondered who the buyer was. This pair was furnished in our base housing at Seymour Johnson. They made a totally striking pair!
