hello to all aw members,
my mom ask me to wash her bedsheets i set it to the bulky item cycle 1:13 minute normal wash time for the bedsheet cycle thats deepwater wash i had to cancel the cycle and restart in a 41 minute cycle that i doubt is clearly efficiant for bedsheets this is seriously making me consider for next washer dryer set to go with something vintage because i do not think i will ever make my mom rrealise that its the normal wash time for the cycle making me wish that maytag would still make and sell in canada there direct drive line |

You've posted several times regards to your mother being upset about long washer cycle times. Tell her that newer washers have a different mechanical design with agitation that is gentler than older machines. Wash times are longer to insure that the loads are rolled over enough times for proper cleaning. Longer washes also allow enzymes in detergents time to work on stains and normal laundry soils at lower water temperatures which is related to the restrictions on hot water usage. |
