Looking at two used Speed Queen AWN432 washers. One from 2015 ends with model number TW01; the other from 2017 ends with model number TW04. What's the difference?

There’s no difference between the two that will affect the operation.

I would buy the one that’s newer or cheaper or closer or in better condition. It’s up to you.

Perfect, thanks. The TW01 was at a used appliance store, open M-F, 9-5. Impossible for those of us who work. Guy answering the phone (Cousin of the owner, apparently), offered to come in over the weekend for me to get it. He's a "real worker" he said. Which I should have known would translate to not showing up when scheduled Sunday morning. Three hours out of my day. No response to texts or calls to him or the owner.

Owner called this morning with "mom had to go to the hospital the night before" excuses. Yet no one could answer calls or texts for hours between the two of them. Horrible customer service in how he's interacting with me.

Long story short, has the TW01 from 2015. I just found the TW04 from 2017 for (At least) $25 cheaper and probably 10-15 minutes closer. Guess which one I'll be picking up. . .

It doesn't really matter, but jump it while you can

Whichever one you get, you need to jump the opportunity and not overthink too much. I had the chance to get a used 2017 SQ for an incredible price last summer and I let the chance slip by because I overthought the new washer purchase to death. I ended up with an old Whirlpool direct drive that I like quite well, but it ended up needing some work done within a few months to make it usable long-term. Had I gone with the SQ, it might have been in perfect condition out the gate, being so much newer, so I regret my hesitation there. Don't make the same mistake I did.
