Tonight I tried something I have not tried before. After washing a king set of flannel sheets and cases in the SQ FL and spinning them in the Miele 1918, I put the whole set in my GE Versatronic dryer with the fitted bottom sheet at the back of the drum and the flat sheet at the front and the auto dry cycle set at Normal. When they were dry all the way through, they were not balled up and remained separated. As wonderful as the large capacity KitchenAid dryers are, they cannot dry two sheets without balling them up unless the lint screen is full enough to diminish the suction at the air outlet at the right rear of the drum bulkhead. I have watched this and a strong exhaust stream starts to pull the sheet against the bulkhead which starts the trouble.
