Apologies, While this is technically in the right category for being a dishwasher older than 20 years, I actually meant to add it to Shoppers Square.

 

Evidently I'm rusty at posting Facebook/Craigslist finds to the board. Dishwashers seem as popular as clothes washers on here and this one seemed interesting, makes me wonder if they made cabinetry to match that front panel back then.

 

Too late to edit and I don't want to fill the site with a double post.

Oh yes, there were cabinets with this "French Provincial" motif. My Aunt Doris moved into a new house in mid 1963 that had such a door design, which was very popular in the mid 60's.

Hopefully there’s a way to change the front panels to match what today's kitchens are done in, otherwise French Provençal is a design I like but in a darker shade…

KitchenAid and some other manufacturers made "trim kits" which allowed custom fronts to be mounted on dishwashers so that they matched cabinetry.
