I found a place down the road that has a ton of old washers and he told me he would trade me my 3 year old G.E. for any machine he has plus he told me if it dies in a year to bring it back and pick out a another. He told me most his people want new machines, I don't know why new machines suck. I have never had a Westinghouse washer , I am driving up there this morning. He said he has tons of old Washers and if he has a old Frigidaire Jet cone I will grab it above all others. I hate this G.E. I can't control the water it has a mind of its own. I was wondering is the 1974 model a Wci or a real Westinghouse,he did mention Speedqueen 1980 but he was cut short on time. He also said he has a Old Front load washer that works great . |

...should be branded Westinghouse, but I think WCI was involved by then.I have a '75 westy-blue agitator :) That 1980 SQ might be one of the last solid tub fluid drive machines. |
