Oh gosh I sure hope they’re what I think they are! I can’t wait to see the neon lighted dial!

I was going to guess center-dial Maytag but something I peeked at peeking through the boxes gives something else away...

(does it come with a frisbee?)

GM Frigidaire or GE is my guess.

Good job Jon. John L already knew what they were as I was at his museum talking to him when I bought the set. It wouldn’t have been possible without Dan posting the link. This is now probably the crown of my collection as the are in excellent shape for their age. I’ll make another post on these as they definitely deserve it. Thanks to all for playing along and being patient. These machines are all original and all 4 speeds still work on the washer and it’s probably the quietest filter flo I’ve ever had. If I deciphered correctly they are 1968 models.

I absolutely love the trim on the front of both appliances.  The badge "Custom" says it all!

Congratulations on your new toys.

Wow!

Years ago I saw one of these pop up in portland very briefly and I missed it. It’s a 1968 for sure. Same clutch mechanism as my 3-speed machine. Amazing find and definitely a crown jewel of a set. Congratulations!

Melvin!! Just smack me upside the head!! And THANK YOU JOHN L for saving these and Melvin being able to buy these. I look forawrd to excellent photos of the control panels as well as the undr-lid instructions and cycle setting charts. I'll add further comments regarding this in the new thread.

What a beautiful set.

An indelicate question: I'm wondering what shipping cost you if you're willing to share that info.

Otherwise I will look forward to all the pictures and details you're about to post. I think this was the only year the controls were back-lit. Can't wait. Please take pictures of the Rating Plate.

Thanks everyone. They are definitely in very nice condition and have been running great. Glenn I’m afraid they are going to be in the living room as they certainly can’t remain outside. Ken I was able to have them shipped to me for $500.
